And The Winner Is...

Thanks so much to everyone who attended our Wedding Registry event last Friday!  We had so much fun with all the brides and their families who attended.  The event was organized by TaDa Event Coordination, an event planning company that works with individuals and businesses to create memorable and effective events while keeping budget and style in mind.  Not only did they take care of all the details of our event, but they would be an asset for any bride in creating the wedding of her dreams.

TaDa has forged relationships with all types of vendors in theWest Michigan wedding community -- one of which was Love At First Cupcake, who brought the most decadent and divine cupcakes to the evening.  Everyone seemed to have a fun time tasting their way through the flavors and deciding on a favorite.  Meme's favorite with the Lemon Drop cupcake -- vanilla cake filled with lemon curd and topped with a lemony cream cheese frosting.  Bree's favorite was the Mocha Dream -- a coffee flavored cake with a cinnamon butter cream filling and chocolate ganache on top.  Every cupcake was amazingly different, distinctly flavored and an irresistible treat.  They make a wide array of amazing flavors, including vegan, gluten or dairy free options.  These little treats would be perfect for a shower or a fun alternative to a wedding cake.

If you missed this event but would like to set up a time to talk about Wedding or Gift Registries (or attend a possible future event), please don't hesitate to let us know.  Our goal is to create registries that reflect both a couple's life and style, with pieces they'll easily use again and again.  We also try to make it easy for friends and family to pick a perfect wedding gift by keeping registries up to date on-line, as well as in store.  Any couple that registers with Initial Attraction will be eligible to receive a 10% personal discount on any registry items purchased by the bride or groom for one year, after the date of the wedding.  Lastly, bridal registries are always accompanied by a hand picked gift from us, as a small thank you for letting us be a part of this tradition.

We also offer additional resources and ideas that may be helpful in regards to other aspects of  wedding planning. We offer a wide array of gifts, not only for registries, but also for wedding party, favors, and thank you gifts.   In fact, the evening included goody bags filled with possible wedding favor options, as well as a raffle for a set of two Juliska champagne glasses. The winner of these gorgeous glasses is Jennifer Wagg!
